Color separation files used to make the screens.

SCREEN PRINTED SWEATSHIRT

This project involved completing a two-color screen printing job from concept through final production. I developed the original design in Adobe Illustrator, then prepared the artwork for prepress by separating and optimizing tints and colors into two TIFF files for film output. After outputting the films, I coated and exposed the screens, aligned the two color separations, and set up the press for printing. I mixed inks, adjusted registration, and ran test prints to ensure accurate color, opacity, and alignment. The project concluded with the final production run, allowing me to carry the design through every stage of the screen printing process, from digital design and prepress to hands-on printing and finishing.
