NALU
For this project, I developed Nalu, a skin and sunscreen brand inspired by fun, energy, and movement. After individually creating our brand concepts, we were placed into teams and pitched our ideas to one another, with my team selecting my brand, Nalu, to move forward. I then led the team through the development of a cohesive brand identity, defining core elements such as the logo, typography, and a unified color palette. As team lead, I oversaw the application of these elements across a professional set of deliverables that clearly communicated the brand’s aesthetic and message.
Our team produced a folder, passport, luggage tag, postcard mailers, a poster, and stickers. We later presented our work to the Canon team and were awarded second place for the strength of the visual system and overall execution. As a result, our deliverables will be printed and displayed by Canon.
VDP BOOKLETS
For the Nalu brand, I developed personalized booklets using XMPie software and variable data printing (VDP) to deliver tailored content based on specific customer profiles such as lifestyle, gender, and skin type. I designed a flexible layout system that allowed imagery, messaging, and visual elements to change dynamically for each audience while preserving Nalu’s established brand identity. By integrating data-driven logic with the visual system, each booklet provided a customized, engaging experience, demonstrating how the Nalu brand could scale across personalized print applications.
